BYFC chosen for FA pilot scheme
BYFC has been chosen by the Football Association to take part in a pilot “self-help” scheme to improve grass roots facilities. We have been offered FA funding to help improve the facilities at the recreation ground, and have joined forces with Bassingbourn Football and Cricket Clubs to maximise our efforts.
We are planning an event on Saturday 14th June. We will work on the Pavilion and Rec, have our registration morning, and also have some football related fun. Please get in touch if you can help in any way with building repairs, painting, or simply tidying up.
World Cup Fun Day Saturday 14th June
To coincide with the first England game in the World Cup we will be holding an event on Sat 14th June at Bassingbourn Rec. The aim is to improve the Pavilion and Rec but also to have some fun.

- Working parties on the pavilion
- Football Fun and games
- Refreshments & BBQ
